Leona Estes, also known as Leona Ritter from the class of 1972, passed away August 25, 2020. She had been battling liver cancer the last couple of months. Leona grew up in Trona and was raised by he grandmother, Juanita Ritter and uncle and aunt, Dale and Patsy (Ritter) Storm.
Sad to hear of her passing. I had seen her posts for awhile but I have had less time for facebook of late. But it is still sad to hear. Hers was not always the easiest path to live but she showed perseverance in living her life her life to the best she was able. Sad to see another of our class has passed on.
