Lois Clair (Blankenship) Holman

Lois Clair (Blankenship) Holman, 96, passed away on October 11, 2026.

Lois and her husband, Raymond “Ray,” moved to Trona in 1961, beginning their long tenure with the community during the 1961–1962 school year. Dedicated educators who shaped generations of local students, Lois taught elementary school while Ray taught at the high school. After decades of service to the Trona schools and community, and watching all four of their children graduate from Trona High School, the Holmans moved to San Diego in 1988.
